You are about to enter the Hill 4-11 Purple Hearts Database, which contains the names and associated records of the men who were awarded the Purple Heart while serving in the 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 11th Light Infantry Brigade, Americal Division during the Vietnam War. It also includes the names of the men from other units who may have been awarded the Purple Heart while supporting the soldiers from the 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment.

Use this database to identify soldiers who were awarded the Purple Heart while serving in the 3rd Battalion, 1st Infanty Regiment or in one of the supporting units, if they have not already been identified in the database.

You need to have an active account to enter new records for the Hill 4-11 Purple Hearts Database. For viewing purposes only, you can access the Hill 4-11 Purple Hearts Database by using the following User ID/password: "guest/guest".

If you have already signed up for an active account for either the Hill 4-11 Memorial Database or the the Hill 4-11 Roster Database, you can log in to the Hill 4-11 Purple Hearts Database by using your previously assigned User ID and password. If you do not yet have an active account, you may request one by submitting the Hill 4-11 Database Login Request Form. Once approved, your User ID and password can be used for all three databases on the Web site.

Note:  The purpose of the Hill 4-11 Purple Hearts Database is to identify only those soldiers who were awarded the Purple Heart while in service to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment or in one of its supporting units during the Vietnam War. Otherwise, please do not misuse or abuse this database. However, feel free to browse the database as a "guest."
